Liam leads Asset Management and Technology at Voltwise, overseeing the operations, maintenance, technical engineering and selection of grid-scale BESS assets. He joined from SMS, where he directed technology strategy across the BESS pipeline, delivered 320 MW to commercial operation, and established in-house asset management and technology functions. Previous roles include CTO at Solo Energy, a distributed battery technology provider, and positions with Irish utility ESB. Liam holds an engineering degree and has more than 15 years’ experience in power systems and energy storage.
