Eoin leads commercial strategy for the company, working with multiple stakeholders and driving sustainable revenue growth across the portfolio. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across energy and commodity markets, algorithmic trading, renewable energy and battery storage optimisation. Before joining Voltwise, Eoin was Commercial Director at Elgin Energy, where he led commercial strategy across solar, battery storage and co-located assets. He previously founded and led Elgin’s trading and optimisation services business, establishing its electricity trading operations in the UK and Ireland and building its capabilities across PPAs, corporate PPAs, route-to-market services and BESS optimisation. Earlier in his career, Eoin led Habitat Energy’s entry into the ERCOT market in the United States, established Naturgy’s Irish electricity trading operation and spent more than a decade in proprietary and algorithmic trading. Eoin holds a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and an MSc in High Performance Computing from Trinity College Dublin, where he was awarded a Gold Medal in Mathematics.
